The brief · what we did · outcome

A storefront built from wireframes with no framework and no build step, to settle an argument we have with clients regularly: how much of a modern shopping experience actually requires a bundler and a component library, and how much is the platform.

Eight screens in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. A filterable product listing, a keyboard-navigable gallery, a quick-view modal that traps focus and returns it, a command-palette search overlay, an inline-editable cart with undo, and a four-step checkout on a single page — the interaction work that usually justifies the framework, done without one.

Deployed and open. We use it as the reference when scoping a storefront: it is the honest floor for what the browser gives you, and the line above which a framework starts earning its cost.
